Job Title: Event Photographer & Videographer (Contract)
About the Role
Location: Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and surrounding Deep East Texas areas.
Important: We are exclusively seeking local candidates residing in Nacogdoches, Lufkin, or the immediate surrounding areas. Reliable local proximity is required for this role due to the nature of weekend event schedules and potential short-notice bookings.
Galleria Graphics Productions is a premier event production company specializing in capturing life’s most meaningful milestones. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Photographer & Videographer to join our team. We specialize in Weddings, Quinceañeras, and high-profile private events.
This is a dynamic role for a creative professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about storytelling through visual media.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photo and video coverage for various events, including Weddings and Quinceañeras.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.
- Adapt quickly to changing lighting, environments, and schedules during live events.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure all "must-have" moments (first kisses, special dances, etc.) are captured flawlessly.
Requirements
- Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.
- Equipment: Must own professional-grade gear, including a camera body (photo/video capable), various lenses, and stabilization (tripods/gimbals).
- Availability: Must have an open and flexible schedule on weekends (primarily Saturdays).
- Experience: Previous experience in event photography/videography is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who possesses a strong technical foundation and a degree/certificate in the field.
- Professionalism: A sharp professional presence and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a positive attitude.
